Caledonian MacBrayne Ferries operate a regular service connecting Tiree to the minaland. Travel takes approximately 4 hours.

Balevullin
Baile a’Mhuilinn - Village of the Mill.
The beach at Balevullin is one of the most popular beaches on the island, certainly with surfers or on a sunny day.
Home to the Tiree Wave Classic, on Tiree there’s not just windsurfing on offer, but activities such as kite surfing, sand yachting, kayaking and cliff jumping. The rest of the year it’s still a pretty nice place to chill out, picnic or enjoy the enviable flora and fauna on offer – they don’t call it the Hawaii of the North for nothing!
